Experience the Fun of Rail Travel! The Citrus Sun Excursion Train gives you the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely train ride though northwest Central Florida. This one hour thirty minute, 10 mile round trip between Eustis and beautiful Wooton Park in Tavares takes you from the shores of Lake Eustis to the shores of Lake Dora. Stainless steel passenger coaches will make the ride relaxing and fun. Our conductor will tell you all about the cars you are riding, the history of the tracks, and point out interesting spots along the way. While riding the rails you can enjoy a beverage from our concession car. Upgrade your ticket and enjoy the unique view from high up in our vista dome car, the Silver Bridle. Boarding is easy wherever you start your ride, with plenty of free parking at both locations. Our Eustis station is located at 51 West Magnolia, Avenue, next to scenic Ferran park. Our new Tavares station is at 200 Rockingham Avenue in Wooton Park. Walk ups are welcome, or reservations may be made in advance on line or by calling 352-589-4300. |
